Keski-Pohjanmaan Metsämarkkinointi Oy LKV provides major projects, project companies, local authorities, landowners and other stakeholders. Founded in 1993, our company has over 30 years’ experience in the valuation, brokerage and property arrangements relating to land and forest properties.
Our particular expertise lies in land and forest valuations for large-scale development projects. We value forest land, farmland, building and industrial sites, soil extraction areas, as well as properties, rights of use and contractual areas related to wind and solar power, mining, energy and infrastructure projects. Valuations can range from individual properties to project portfolios comprising hundreds of hectares and involving multiple landowners.
In our forest valuations, we utilise plot-specific forest resource data, site inspections, drone imagery, up-to-date timber market data and market analysis of completed property transactions. For large-scale projects, we draw up consistent and transparent valuation criteria, which enable the values of different properties to be determined in a way that allows for comparison.
For large-scale projects, we also offer a purchase mandate service and practical implementation of land acquisition. The service can be tailored to cover:

Our team of experts comprises two forest managers and one graduate engineer specialising in environmental studies, with our main office in Kokkola and a branch office at Känsälä 11, 69600 Kaustinen. Our team also holds LKV qualifications and has experience in complex property valuations, negotiations with landowners, deeds of transfer and legal issues relating to property.
We act as an independent and practical expert partner on the project. Our aim is to provide a well-founded understanding of the fair market value of the areas to inform decision-making, and to assist the project operator in carrying out the land acquisition in a controlled, fair and properly documented manner.
