K KASE Kehitys Oy, owned by the municipalities of the Kaustinen sub-region, is looking for an expert service provider to carry out a preliminary study on the potential for the location of medium, large and hyperscale data centres in our region.

The aim of the study is to produce a scoping study-type analysis of greenfield and brownfield sites in five municipalities (Halsua, Kaustinen, Lestijärvi, Toholampi, Veteli), and is expected to include assessments of e.g. electricity networks, telecommunication connections, cooling solutions, zoning and technical factors.

The preliminary assessment will be prepared. KASE Development Ltd will provide baseline data for all greenfield sites to be agreed and information/contact details for brownfield sites. The budget for the study is €11,000 (VAT 0%) and the implementation will take place during spring-summer 2025 with the study to be completed by 24 June 2025.Tenders must be submitted by 25 April 2025 at 16:00.
